Loving your blog posts. Congrats to moving to your own wordpress. Couple of things I would do quickly if I were you… move your feeds to feedburner. It’s the best way to keep the load off your servers when you grow subscribers and provide a really nice email subscription.
Also, if you haven’t already played around with it- disqus comments are excellent.

I believe you can get a feedburner feed if you click on “subscribe to grattisfaction” at the right. According to feedburner I have 14 subscribers.
I also see disqus comments when I log out and look at things, so I’m not sure why you’re not seeing them. I installed the disqus plug-in, so it should work now.
